How to Become a Scottsdale Therapy Dog with The Golden Gang! 


Think your pup has what it takes to be a hero in our Golden Gang volunteer program? We are always looking for friendly, calm, and well-behaved dogs (and their humans!) to join our volunteer family. 


Training Requirements: 


Basic Obedience: Your dog must reliably sit, stay, heel, and leave-it on command. 

Socialization: Comfortable around medical equipment, large crowds, kids, and other dogs. 

Certification: Teams must pass a formal therapy dog evaluation, allowing them to participate in therapy dogs for events.
